Our on-site Emergency Department accepts cardiac patients 24 hours a day, with patients able to be referred to our spectrum of cardiac specialists. Access to the cardiac service after hours is via the ambulance service.

Angiography
Ashford Hospital has recently installed 2 new state of the art angiography suites. This latest technology, together with skilled medical and nursing staff provides 24 hour care for patients requiring cardiac interventions.
Cardiac Rehabilitation
Our Cardiac Rehabilitation Program is available and is promoted to our patients living with cardiovascular disease and its effects. It is designed for patients to learn more about their heart and exercise, in a friendly and supportive environment. The program, conducted by our professional Cardiac Rehabilitation Team, focuses on identifying and modifying risk factors for heart disease, including specific diet and exercise advice.
The program consists of 6 X 2 hour sessions on Wednesday afternoons from 1 til 3pm.
